Leah had her first day recital in May. The outfits could not have been cuter. I thought Leah would be a little bit nervous in front of a jammed auditorium, but she was the star of the show. She did all of the moves correctly and didn't lose her place when she had to fix her slipper that came off. Maybe we will do dance again, but right now we are on summer break.

And the Winner is.....
We have been waiting about a year and a half for what we experienced this weekend!! Collin won first place at his wrestling meet this weekend. And everyone was there to see it. Grandma Black, Uncle Kevin, Grandma and Grandpa Black, his sisters, and of course Craig and I. I don't have any pictures from that meet because we were taking video. Grandma Black will be sending me some photos. Until then, I will post some from another tournament.
Christmas Morning
Christmas morning was so magical at our house this year. Along with getting the kids what they asked Santa for, he also through in a couple of things they didn't even ask for, but love. How did he know? Is all they can say. And all I can say is Santa has his ways of knowing exactly what everyone will love.

Christmas Eve
Collin with his Champion wrestling belt!!
Leah with a new Dora dress!!
Elyse with her new American Girl doll!
This year we spent most of the day Christmas Eve with Uncle Kevin and Grandma and PaPa Black. We ate dinner over there, opened presents, and went to church. Grandma and Grandpa Jones and Uncle Kurt came over in the morning to give the kids their gifts. We are so blessed to have a healthy happy family. We are also so lucky that we all live so close, and we never have to choose who we will see for Christmas.
Winter Wonderland
We were so lucky to have a perfect snowfall before Christmas this year. We all went sledding one night after Craig got home from work. We were to only people at the sledding hill. I guess we are the only people who go sledding after dark. It was so much fun! No one even complained about being cold. And when we got home, we all had some hot chocolate. I don't think the kids would let me get away without making hot chocolate after sledding!
